Mercedes Benz AMG C 63 S, it is a luxury sports sedan with lots of power and so much torque going to the back wheels. Yes, exactly what you want from a sports sedan.

Looks and Features

Let’s start with the looks and feature, in looks, she is gorgeous and pretty to look at. All LED front lamps and also the tail lamps are stunning,
If you’re thinking that it will look same as all the C class that you are not that off the mark. In first glance, you will think of it as same as the normal C class but, when you start to pay attention to details you can find the big difference.

Like front grills and splitter, the back diffuser with AMD batches, V8 bi-turbo batch on the side with 19-inch standard allows wheels which add to the sporty looks and the edges and muscular contour are an impressive visual demonstration of its enthralling power, wooo!

There are few bits of carbon fibre on body adding to the sportiness like rear spoiler strip. And the interior is same as standard C class except for front bucket seats which are supportive. Still interior looks exigent and has an appealing presence of a place where you would like to be.

If you are buying this I think there are few optional extras which you must consider, and you should buy it.
Like front splitter, rear diffuser, carbon fibre finish on the central dashboard to also give it sport feel inside. It feels really good inside, whether you are riding it or as a passenger.

As true AMG is a wolf in the sheep’s clothing and for me, full black AMG looks a bit of the beast.
It is just waiting to reveal itself from that clothing are tear everyone on the road.
But in the interior, the infotainment system looks a bit out-dated both its interface and looks. Rear seats are good and comfortable.

The coupe looks even good but not so much for rear seat passengers as it takes lots of headroom. Luggage space is good and it has also got the keyless entry feature with an ambient light inside.

Performance and Dynamics

Let’s talk about the performance and dynamics. This AMG has got a new suspension and some sticky wide tyres and it has even got an inch longer wheelbase adding to the stability. But it doesn’t have the old 6.2 l v8 best heart, and what it has got is a 4l twin turbo v8. But even think that this beast can be tamed easily.

It is still a maniac who loves to go sideways, if you do not care full in a corner, not a pro and still thinking that poking a beast and you won’t get in a trouble then you are sadly mistaken, just a slight mistake either you will go off the track or you will be going back word at the end of the corner.

She has 510 bhp and 700 Nm torques which goes to the back wheels by an electronic slip differential which makes it do 0-100 kph in just 4 seconds but, only when launched in dry and non-slippery condition with launch control on else you will just spin the rear tyres off. Still, 700 is huge and it gives it a muscle car feel.

It has got a 7-speed automatic gearbox, it is much better than before but not even close to the dual clutch gearbox. And it now has full electric steering wheel which has good weight at given time and is direct and has precession but it is bit num. But all the complaints can be ignored when you put your foot down, the brute force and sound are addictive and the power and torque come from as low as 2k rpm. But it doesn’t mean AMG has not given way to tame it.

It has got different modes by which you can change the throttle response suspension setup steering response even the traction control system can be fully turned off.

But if you are not a professional then I will suggest for sports handling mode which gives a bit of drift and helps you get back online before you go out of control. But, if you have an empty track or a big parking lot you can go mad with it if you have an extra set of tyres before starting it.

I have to say this car can change personality really fast and well if you want her to be quiet and comfortable and well behaved as well, she can do it and another second she can be a tyre ripping monster which can turn your both back wheels to smoke without a sweat. But I can suggest you if you like the sound you can ask for the optional extra for better and louder sound and keep it on forever, as it has a soundtrack you would love to hear.

Final verdict:

Looks and design: 9/10
Specs & features: 9/10
Dynamics & performance: 9/10
Safety & quality: 9/10

A great combination of sports and luxury, which has a great presence on road and on track, and it will not disappoint you rather it will bring a big smile to your face. It can also cruse long distance with great comfort and ease.
